Amazon Pay, an online payment processing service, is launched by Amazon Inc. today. Amazon payments use the consumer base of Amazon.com and focus on giving users to pay with their Amazon accounts on external merchant websites. As of January 2017, the service is available in the U.S., France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain and U.K. From today this service has also started its availability in India after receiving RBI’s green signal to begin its electronic payment platform called "Amazon Pay".

Amazon Pay balance helps customers stores balances for essential items and solves the pain point of tendering the exact amount of cash at the time of delivery." the company said in a statement.
